Olivia Phillips
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
My approach is integrative which means I utilise the appropriate therapeutic approach specific for my client, to get to the root cause of their pain. I work in a collaborative way which includes exploring the childhood to understand current patterns and behaviours to achieve awareness.
My experience includes working as a high intensity psychotherapist for the NHS where I have seen clients presenting with depression, PTSD, CPTSD, bi-polar and addiction. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor and supervise psychotherapists and trainees working with clients presenting with trauma.
With a background in creative marketing, working for corporations in New York, London and Dublin, I understand the stress of moving to new cities and working in a demanding career but also the importance of collaboration to achieve goals. As a result, the foundation of my work is the relationship I create with my clients, as it is through this relationship that awareness is achieved.
I am an Accredited Member of both the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethical framework.
