About me

I am a qualified and experienced psychodynamic therapist and counsellor with a practice in Bethnal Green, east London. I offer open-ended psychotherapy and sessions are usually weekly at the same time each week and last for 50 minutes. Whatever your reason for contacting me, I offer a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space in which to begin to understand and reflect on the issues concerning you. It may feel like a big step to reach out to a therapist, and I place the utmost importance on confidentiality at every stage of the process. I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy, which is based on the idea that we may repeat patterns of relating and behaving from the past without being fully aware of it. While this is not always a problem, it can lead to feeling stuck or unable to grow and develop in your life in the ways you would like. Beginning to reflect on these patterns in the context of a different kind of relationship can be liberating and offer a renewed sense of meaning. This type of work can help with chronic anxiety, depression, panic, low self-esteem, burnout, relationship problems and other difficulties. Contact me if you have more questions about therapy or if you would like to book an initial appointment. This meeting is an opportunity for us to think in person about what is most likely to benefit you at this time.
