Engaging in a therapeutic relationship can help us to make sense of those thoughts and feelings that are causing distress.

I can support you to lead a more fulfilling life, by providing a safe and confidential space for you to explore difficult feelings and personal information, a place where you feel listened to, where you can be yourself, In your own time and at your own pace.

I work as an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist using the psychodynamic and Person-centred models; This is tailored to each client's individual needs. We focus on the here and now in trying to understand where you find yourself today, This could be a particular issue or to just explore and make sense of your current thoughts and feelings. We may start with a specific issue but can then open up into a deeper exploration by making links between different areas of your life, usually early childhood. My aim as a therapist would be focused on helping you to make the desired changes in order to gain greater awareness of your own potential and the psychological blocks that get in the way of you achieving this.

I offer both long term and short term therapy. Coming to the first session does not commit you, This is a personal decision where together we can decide what best suits your needs.

I have 20 years experience working with both groups and individuals of all ages. I have worked in the voluntary NHS and private practice.
