Lauren Haycox
Psychodynamic psychotherapistAbout Me
Hi, I'm Lauren and I'm an qualified psychotherapist with experience in working with a range of issues. You might be feeling stuck in work or life or be going through a transition such as parenthood, retirement or redundancy. Perhaps you're struggling with something that feels deeper and more serious. You might have experienced difficulties or loss because of the pandemic. Or you might find yourself anxious and depressed with no real idea why. Therapy can help make sense of these things and begin a process of healing.
I work with clients on a one-to-one basis either in my consulting room or online. A session would typically feel quite free-flowing and over the course of 50 minutes, we might explore an issue that is bothering you at the moment or think about your past experiences. I'm not here to judge you or label your experiences, sexuality or spirituality. I am here to listen with empathy and understanding and help you make sense of where you find yourself now. You are an individual with unique experiences and I will approach our work together on that basis. Over the course of working together, we can think more deeply about how things are for you, consider patterns in relationships or situations that may be unhelpful to you and how you might approach things differently.
