Jill Threadgold Integrative psychotherapist , TW11
Within an environment based on a foundation of trust and mutual respect, I seek to understand each person's own individual experience and adapt my approach to best suit each client. As an integrative practitioner I draw upon many therapeutic approaches. Whilst appreciating that the past plays an important role in the development of our patterns of behaviour, I primarily work from a humanistic stance although also draw upon cognitive behavioural techniques where appropriate to help clients better cope with everyday life.
I have experience with a range of issues, including workplace stress, anxiety, depression, bereavement and chronic health conditions. I am also an experienced coach, working with individuals across a range of areas, both personal and professional. I have practiced therapeutically within a variety of settings, including the NHS and charitable organisations, previously having spent over 20 years working within a corporate environment. This experience, combined with periods spent overseas, are often valuable in my therapeutic work as I find it deepens my understanding of the many challenges faced in the modern day world.
