Jane OakleyPsychodynamic psychotherapist
I offer a confidential assessment and psychotherapy treatment service for people experiencing emotional, personal and relationship difficulties. I am a member of the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists and the British Psychoanalytic Council and I completed my training at the Tavistock and Portman.
I have 20 years experience of working in the public sector in Probation, Youth Offending Service and Social Care and other organisations with families and young people experiencing interpersonal and relationship issues . I have worked with people from the Traveler community and BAME and welcome people from all backgrounds.
I am currently working for the NHS as an Adult Psychotherapist in an ADAPT Team and I am committed to continuous professional development and training to offer a professional and informed service.
If you are experiencing relationship difficulties at home, work or with friendships, feelings of anxiety and an inability to cope, emptiness, sadness, isolation or depression, eating disorders, difficulties with bereavement, loss, divorce, trauma, unexplained physical symptoms, severe mental distress or you think that you are just not reaching your potential in life and can't put your finger on it, then I could be the Therapist for you.
In light of the Covid19 pandemic I am offering telephone, Skype and Zoom consultations and therapy sessions to help people keep safe and offer ongoing support in this anxiety provoking time.
I look forward to hearing from you and working with you in the future. Email me or call to organise a consultation.
