A safe place to think and to talk in confidence, are the foundation of my practice. My commitment as an experienced psychotherapist is to enable and support you in the process of exploring your feelings and make sense of your thoughts and experiences. We will work together through difficulties, understand relationships past and present and help to facilitate changes in a respectful and thoughtful way.
I have a long experience of many years working with a diverse range of issues and people from different cultures, faiths, sexual orientation and from different professional and educational backgrounds. These years of working in a private practice, in the voluntary sector and as a therapist in different organisations in the UK and abroad, allowed me to acquaint myself with people who had made changes in their career and lives, including those who moved countries and struggled with integration, adaptation and relationships.
I specialise and have vast experience in working with people who experienced depression, anxiety, work stress and burn out, separation, bereavement, loss or trauma – in particular post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
I work short term (12 sessions) and long term, open ended therapy. Depends in the issue you bring.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). A member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC) and the British Psychoanalytical Council (BPC),
I am bound by their codes of ethics.
