Helene Clarke
Psychodynamic counsellorAbout Me
I am an experienced, accredited and qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and care deeply about what I do. You may be depressed, anxious, stressed, angry or have relationship problems or work-related difficulties. I will listen to you with empathy and without judgement so that I can see the world through your eyes and so that you feel heard. If your thoughts and feelings are confusing, conflicted or unclear, I will work with you collaboratively to unravel and make sense of them.
I approach my work with hope and optimism and will work alongside you to explore and understand the roots of your difficulties so that you can gain new perspectives on them. A greater understanding of yourself can give you the freedom and autonomy to make positive and lasting changes in your life.
I work on a one-to-one basis with adults aged 18 years and above. Sessions can be open-ended or time-limited and can be held face to face, online or over the telephone.
It is important that you trust your gut when deciding which therapist to choose. This is why I offer a free initial consultation so that you can see if I am the right therapist for you.
