Francesca Robson
Person-centred/humanistic counsellorAbout Me
Hi, I'm Francesca, a fully qualified Person-centred therapist and member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work with people from all walks of life and backgrounds, with a diverse range of experiences. I offer short and long-term online therapy sessions and work with young people and adults across a diverse range of issues. I have a particular interest in working with adults in recovery from addictions.
Person-centred therapy helps you explore your feelings, behaviours, and attitudes, enabling you to make lasting changes that feel healthy and authentic. I focus on your needs and listen to you while providing a conducive environment for you to make decisions independently without judgement. I work with insight and sensitivity and provide a safe, confidential space for you to grow and take responsibility for your self-care.
Since qualifying I have worked in a variety of settings as a counsellor offering support for young people and adults, within the NHS, schools, addiction residential treatment centres and individuals at my private practice. I have a particular interest in adults recovering from addiction.
We all experience times of difficulty in our lives, when events or relationships feel overwhelming, or we can feel a loss of direction or purpose. Talking to a trained professional helps us make sense of those challenging times and offers a way through them, moving towards a better understanding of ourselves and out feelings.
