About me

The two most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why.” Mark Twain Sometimes we find ourselves facing obstacles that prevent us from experiencing the external and inner world we hope for. Sometimes we stray so far from ourselves that we do not recognise the way home. Therapy can help map out a way back to our true selves; locate paths to our true purpose. It can also be a comfort and a companion when one finds oneself in uncharted territory. Regardless of where you are right now, your feelings and your needs are important. I am a qualified therapist based in Greenwich Borough and I offer both face to face and online sessions. Owing to the pandemic, all sessions are currently online.  As an experienced, HCPC registered therapist I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space for clients to explore different aspects of their lives and themselves. I offer a creative, psychodynamic, and person-centred approach that allows clients to dictate the pace and content of the sessions. Clients also benefit from my knowledge and experience of mindfulness, meditation, Gestalt and CBT techniques. I work with individuals, groups, and families. I have worked in several settings and organisations, as well as working in private practice. All age groups are welcome from young children to adults. Talking therapy, story work, artwork, mindfulness, meditation, creative visualisation, journaling, script writing along with many other forms of writing , improvisation, movement, play and mask work are just some of the different activities and methods available to explore your inner and outer worlds. There will never be any pressure to use any of these methods either. I additionally now offer outdoor therapy. This involves meeting for sessions in appropriate outdoor settings. This type of approach may suit those who love being outside in nature, those who prefer being outdoors owing to Covid, as well as those wanting to explore outdoor therapy for a number of different reasons. These sessions can be scheduled for pre and post working hours season permitting and therefore can be conveniently scheduled in order to accommodate work commitments. I am also a qualified teacher and work with children and adolescents to help them to overcome barriers to learning. I work with young people who experience emotional and mental health difficulties, as well as those with special educational needs. I set up and ran a school therapeutic service for almost a decade and have extensive experience working with children of all ages in school, charitable organisations, NHS settings and private practice.
