Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
Hello and a warm welcome to you.
Are you struggling and feel that it is taking over, or that there is no way out? Do you feel alone in what you are experiencing? Therapy with me involves being on your side, helping you to voice what is going on for you with empathy, and find a way through, so that you can live a more fulfilled life. I believe it is in our struggles where we can grow, and discover our hidden strengths and potential.
My way of working involves building a relationship with you based on trust and acceptance, where you are heard and respected. I will be guided by your feelings or experiences, and use a range of approaches combining the mind and body; helping you to gain a better understanding of yourself and what you want; and heal from past experiences that can impact your present, and hold you back. I also offer tools such as meditations and breathing techniques, so that you can feel grounded and calmer, in dealing with whatever your life brings.
I have experience in depression, anxiety, addictions, relationship issues, including difficult family or work dynamics ; as well as grief and loss, lack of meaning/purpose in life and childhood trauma. I also offer a warm and welcoming space for the LGBTQ community.
It takes real courage to start therapy, and I am here to help you move forward in your struggles. Please feel free to contact me and we can talk further about how I can help you.
A bit about me: I worked in market and social research for over 10 years and come from an Asian background. I love being in nature and the spirit of animals.
