Psychodynamic counsellorAbout Me
If you’re suffering from stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, poor self-esteem, work issues, or if you find yourself in a repeating pattern you’d like to change, talking to someone can help.
I am a BACP-registered, Psychodynamically-trained counsellor and combine work in my private practice with an ongoing work at a well-known mental health charity.
My practice is entirely driven by my client’s needs, and although the way I work benefits from a client’s honesty, bravery and curiosity, I believe none of these things are a prerequisite for effective or helpful therapy. Sometimes, just having a place to come and unload can be every bit as beneficial as an ongoing journey of discovery of ourselves.
I offer my clients my genuine passion for the work, training and interest in helping people. I believe very strongly that someone’s financial position should not be a barrier to them seeking counselling help, and I am able to offer affordable sessions to those on low incomes.
I am Psychodynamically-trained counsellor and have worked with clients with depression, issues with self-esteem and anxiety, relationship and/or sexual issues, bereavement, loneliness, panic disorder, separation and divorce, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Psychosis. I welcome graduates of the Hoffman Process.
