About Me

Feeling life is a mess? Overwhelmed by anxiety or depression? Struggling to cope? Paralysed by decision making? Frustrated with those around you? Dissatisfied with where your life and relationships are at?

I work with individuals and couples.  I can offer you a safe and confidential space whilst you explore solutions that are right for you in your particular situation.

Clients come to see me with various difficulties in their lives. Areas I have worked with include depression, loss, anxiety, bereavement, sexual abuse, trauma, low self esteem and couples who are experiencing difficulties in their relationship.

I work within a Person-Centred framework which means that I put you the client at the centre of the therapy and I will work with you in a way where I can support you through the counselling process.

I won't analyse you, tell you what to do or make decisions for you but what I will do is by using a number of professional techniques which I can make available to you, it can provide you with the tools to manage things differently and empower you to make the changes you need in order to live a more fulfilling life.

If you would like to book an initial session, or even if you're not sure if counselling is for you and you'd like to ask a few more questions, then please feel free to call me.

Fees

I am able to offer sessions to fit around your busy lives, so I can do early mornings, during the day, evenings and Saturday mornings, subject to availability.

Sessions are weekly and each session is for 50 minutes.

Prices are for individual and couple sessions in my practice rooms.

Therapy Cost
Initial £60
Counselling £60
Couples Initial £90
Couples Counselling £90
Fees for Insurers (Counselling or Psychotherapy) £85

How to pay

Payment is preferably taken by cash or card machine at the end of each session, or only upon agreement via bank transfer, Paypal which would need to be paid 48hrs in advance.

Cancellation Policy

Should you wish to cancel an appointment, for any reason,  you can email or text me to cancel. I require 48 hours advance notice to avoid cancellation charges for the room. If less than 48 hours notice of cancellation of a session is given by you the full fee will be payable. For example, if you cancel your session on the day, the fee is still due and must be paid that day.

If I am unwell or unable to attend the session, I will give you as much notice as possible and I will aim to organise an alternative time for a session. Should I cancel our sessions you will not have to pay for them, I will always do my best to inform you of my absence with significant advance notice.
