I have many years of experience providing professional counselling to adults from a range of backgrounds and difficulties. I currently work in private practice near Twyford and Central Wokingham, working with people on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period. Previous to this I have worked in the NHS, within a large GP surgery seeing clients with a wide range of difficulties. I have worked within a charity helping clients who have experienced addictions and I have also worked for a young persons counselling agency.
I understand that deciding to start therapy and explore your thoughts and feelings can be a big step but one that can lead to lasting change in the way that you live your present life, enabling you to live it more freely and fully.
I am an experienced counsellor, helping clients who have had difficulties with:
- stress or anxiety
- depression or a general feeling of unhappiness
- relationships (partner, family or workplace)
- going through a crisis or life transition
- bullying or other forms of abuse
- loss or bereavement
- eating disorders
- lacking feelings of self worth or confidence
- addictions or related issues

I practice from accessible and comfortable consulting rooms within easy reach of Twyford, Woodley, Sonning, Bracknell, Henley, Maidenhead and the surrounding areas. I also practice from central Reading.

The initial consultation costs £45 and lasts around an hour.
Thereafter I charge from £45 per 50 minute session.
Training and qualifications
Masters Degree in Counselling (Psychodynamic), University of Reading.
Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling (Accredited) , University of Reading.
Pre-clinical graduate training in counselling, University of Reading
Certificate in Counselling Young People.
Registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I adhere to the BACP's Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and I keep up to date with ongoing Continued Professional Development (CPD).
