Addiction therapistAbout Me
Hello and welcome, if you are browsing my profile then you are contemplating whether to seek help for your addiction or how you deal with a loved ones addiction. So you probably want to know how I can help? I understand that you are a unique individual and so creating a treatment plan that is tailored to you, is of great importance. We can look at what your goals are and how we can work together to achieve them. The space I provide is a non-judgmental one where you can feel heard and understood but also be invited to challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, that may be contributing to your situation.
Who am I
I am a qualified addictions counsellor with over five years experience working with addiction and recovery. I have worked in one of the UK'S leading residential rehab's as a senior therapist where I worked with addiction and co-occurring disorders such as EUPD, ADHD, Body Dysphoria, PTSD, OCD and Depression. I am currently completing a post grad in traumatology, while I do not want to stereotype people, often there are links between trauma and addiction. Working with trauma in an unsafe way can do more harm then good. I want to provide the best possible options for you, so you can eventually live a life out of therapy.
So if this sounds like something that interests you, then please book a session on my schedule and we can discuss how we move forward. I look forward to hearing from you.
