I have thirty years of experience as an adult psychotherapist trained in psychoanalytic, systemic, and forensic models of therapy. I have worked in the NHS, the voluntary and charity sectors, and in the criminal justice system as well as in private practice where I also offer clinical supervision and organisation consultancy and coaching.
I have previously worked as a senior academic and senior manager in psychotherapy training organisations and continues to participate in public life as a conference presenter and through publication. I was Chair of a national women’s mental health charity and I am a clinical member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy Ethics and Professional Conduct Committees. I have consulted with many different organisations in education, mental health, public relations and media and the arts. Alongside my psychotherapy and supervision practice. I am currently undertaking research into organisations from the systems-psychodynamic perspective and my specialist areas of interest are leadership and executive coaching and complex organisational change and crisis management.
