Wendy Bristow
Psychodynamic psychotherapistAbout Me
I first trained as a counsellor in Australia in 1991 and have been working one-to-one with people as an executive coach for nearly 20 years. I saw clients for three years at Cruse Bereavement Care and 4 years at WPF Therapy where I also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist before going into private practice. I have extensive experience with illness, depression, anxiety and relationship difficulties.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC) and I abide by their ethics, standards and practices. I also hold a Certificate in Mindfulness from the Mindfulness Association.
Like many people who become therapists, I have been in therapy myself and know first-hand how helpful it can be to talk to get confidential and informed support. The relationship with your counsellor or therapist is all important so give me a call or an email and we can set up a meeting to see how we could work together.
