Simi Valecha Integrative psychotherapist , SE1
I am an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist trained in London and working in Central London. With an integrative psychotherapy training and working experience in the statutory sector working both inpatient and outpatient wards, I have successfully helped people who have a range of issues and severity of presenting problems.
I am trained to work with 7 forms of art which support the therapeutic process as a form of not just verbal communication. These forms of art: Art, drama/puppetry, Sculpture/Clay, Sandplay, Poetry, Music, Dance/Movement. We can use the arts in a supportive method of non-verbal communication when words may seem to fail us. It is not required that you have any experience or knowledge in the arts and of course are not obliged to work with the arts should you wish not to.
Therapy aims are personal and are co-created at the beginning of the journey, establishing your goals for therapy. I look forward to hearing from you.
