Rowanne Mackie
Cognitive behaviour therapy counsellorAbout Me
Do you feel stuck? Perhaps struggling with negative habits, indecision or low self-confidence? I am passionate about empowering you to change and achieve your goals. Highly experienced in working with clients both online (video conference) and face to face, I work collaboratively with individual adults and couples offering empathic support, using individually tailored proven techniques.
As an Integrative Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Counsellor, Hypnotherapist and Life Coach, I help you to change your thinking and overcome limiting self-beliefs to develop helpful habits and thinking patterns for lasting change. I favour the rapid emotional change that Cognitive Behavioural Therapies bring. My focus is your positive, lasting emotional, behavioural and mental change.
I have over 25 years training and mentoring experience in the high-stress public and private sectors, and since 2014, as a therapist, counsellor and coach. From 2014 I practiced in central London and in 2018, I also began working with clients online. Also, in 2018 I joined the lecturing staff of the College of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies.
I have a wealth of experience supporting individual adults and couples grow and change. I know that seeking support either individually or as a couple can be a big step. My aim is to help you feel heard, seen for who you are and overcome any difficulties. I'm here to help you and believe we are all capable of positive change if we put the work in. I work with you to develop a deeper understanding of whatever they are dealing with, supporting you to feel, think and behave in a healthier way towards yourself and others.
Whilst the number of sessions needed varies case by case, I will support you to achieve rapid results and value for money. I am a down-to-earth person and my uniqueness lies with my extensive life experience, my ability to understand, build trust and gain results. I strive to create a safe, confidential and supportive space where my clients feel able to be honest without fear of judgement to explore, grow and change.
If you are looking for an approachable, supportive professional who will listen to you and provide you with the tools and skills to create lasting change, please do contact me.
