About Me

I am a qualified Child and Adolescent Counsellor who trained at the Institute of Art, Therapy and Education for three years.

I am a registered counsellor with BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and undertake weekly supervision from a highly experienced Child Psychotherapist.

Based in the UK, I offer online counselling for 8-18 year olds. I currently only offer sessions online due to lock-down restrictions.

Working through play and creativity can unlock unconscious parts of us that words alone can’t always reach. Child counselling provides a space for your child/teenager to self-discover, process difficult feelings and develop in their well-being.

I am fully insured, paediatric first-aid trained and carry an enhanced DBS check.

I regularly partake in a wide range of CPD courses to develop in my professional practice.

My therapeutic model is integrative, which means that I can call upon a variety of modalities that would best suite the needs of your child/adolescent.

The work is child-lead and creative-arts based with the application from a variety of theories and neurosciences.

Before working in private practice, I acted as a volunteer counsellor for a charity in Croydon working with 14 - 19 year olds. I was a volunteer creative-arts therapist in a primary and secondary school in south west London.

I have volunteered with child-refugees and female victims of human trafficking in central London as a therapeutic support worker.

I spent three years volunteering with a charity in the Philippines as an outreach and residential worker with street children, victims of sexual abuse, substance miss-use and extreme trauma.

Fees

Sessions are £55 for the 50 minute appointment.

If you are a child/adolescent you will need to have a parent/carer that agrees for you to do therapy with me at this time.

After being in contact, we would then arrange to meet on Zoom. There I can find out more about why you want counselling and if I feel that I would be the right counsellor for you. You can decide after that if you would like me to be your counsellor.

The charge for this is £20 per 30 minutes.

If after our initial assessment session we feel that it would be good for us to work together, then you can book in for a series of sessions which would be at the same day and time each week.

If you cancel within less than 48 hours notice then you will still be charged for the session.

Most clients choose to have 6-12 sessions but this is entirely up to you and what you need. Your sessions can be open ended depending on what is best for you.

Please feel free to get in contact either here, via my website or through Facebook or Instagram (links on the website)
