Mark Bailey Cognitive behaviour therapy psychotherapist , W1B
I am a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist and have been in Clinical Practice since 2002. I am down to earth and friendly and passionate that therapy is a collaborative process - my job is to enable clients to find their own individual, specific answers to their problems. I am experienced enough to know that theory is helpful but what happens in successful therapy is not purely dictated by it. No one size fits all and no specific therapeutic model has all the answers. Therapy should reflect the diversity of the cultures within society now and what may work for one person will therefore not necessarily fit someone else. The way in which I work also reflects today's lifestyles so as well as working in person with clients, I also offer online therapy using Skype, Facetime & Whatsapp.
I am lucky enough to have worked with and alongside some brilliant, supportive and effective therapists personally and in my career so I work with clients how I would like a therapist to work with me: approachable, supportive, empathic, human, non-shaming, kindly challenging and always with an eye on helping you achieve the results you want and helping to reduce psychological pain and negative symptoms.
