Lyn Reed Psychoanalytic counsellor , WS6

I offer a friendly, safe, confidential and professional service as an integrative counsellor.  This simply means that I work with people of all ages and all backgrounds in a way which is best suited to their individual needs. In my opinion and experience, one size does not fit all and we all deal with life experiences in our unique way.  It follows then that I take a holistic approach to my work: looking at the past in relation to the present - aiming to build a brighter future with those who seek my help.

My experience of working with people has been acquired by working both in the public and voluntary sectors.

I am also a therapist with Anxiety UK.

I have my own private practice  'Meeting Minds'.  Please visit my for further information on the way I work.

I have experience and interest in working with those who experience stress, anxiety and depression.

I also work with people who live with long term health conditions and together we can look to a future which, whilst may not what was anticipated, but can still be worthwhile.  Life is full of new starts and surprises!

Stress and anxiety is often at the root of many self-defeating behaviours such as self-harm and weight issues, and I work with clients to help boost self-esteem and self-confidence helping them to take back control.

Other areas I work with include:

- abuse

- addictions

- anxiety

- loss

- bereavement

- education issues

- work issues

- self image

- stress

- suicidal thoughts

- loss of confidence

- relationships

I am fully insured.

I have enhanced disclosure.

I am available for both day and evening appointments.
