Laura MartinGestalt psychotherapist
I am a UKCP senior trainee Gestalt psychotherapist with over four years experience seeing clients experiencing anxiety, depression, loneliness, difficulties with addictions, abusive relationships and low self-esteem. I have particular experience working with loss and bereavement having worked at a bereavement centre for several years, and firmly believe that even our most painful experiences become more bearable when shared.
Gestalt therapy is supportive if you are going through serious difficulties, as well as if you are simply wanting more satisfaction and joy.
As a Gestalt therapist I work with you to explore the painful feelings, experiences and habitual ways of being that may have been holding you back from enjoying your life. I trust that when you are able to more fully embrace and accept your experience, it can change. A therapeutic relationship where you feel seen and heard is often vital in this process of getting to know and be with yourself.
Through working together, you should find your energy and vitality returning, and discover you have the resources to better meet your needs.
