Laura Henderson-Begg
Existential psychotherapistAbout Me
Hello, my name is Laura. There are many reasons that might bring you to therapy, and I understand reaching out can feel a difficult first step.
In our busy lives, therapy is a time and space just for you; a rare place that can help you to express what previously may have been unsaid or felt unsayable. What you speak about is your choice and to create a safe and non-judgemental space is of the upmost importance to me.
I take a collaborative and creative approach. Together we can explore aspects of your life that might feel challenging, difficult, or frightening. We can reflect on how you relate to others and consider how past experiences may be influencing your present. As we work, new possibilities for how to tackle the difficulties in your life may emerge. Therapy can be a place of potential and change, where small shifts can make a significant difference.
Before I trained as a therapist I worked in the arts and teaching sectors, and outside of my private practice I am currently working with an NHS service for trauma and sexual abuse.
