Killian StrongIntegrative psychotherapist
At this time I work exclusively online and over the phone, with concessions for key workers, students and those on low incomes – please don’t let financial circumstances keep you from seeking the support you need.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist I draw on a range of approaches to support your personal experience of therapy. I offer compassionate conversation to help you make sense of challenging or confusing circumstances, for greater freedom from painfully repetitive feelings, thoughts and behaviours.
I offer space to support you through challenging life losses, changes and transitions.
Where words fail or get in the way, I offer the possibility of creative and artistic expression – both indoors and outdoors, in nature. Working with various art methods and movement, we can give expression to our feelings and thoughts in ways that simply ‘talking about’ our issues may not touch on.
Exploring our issues creatively and in nature can be deeply empowering. Working in this way supports holistic, natural change and growth. No previous experience of working with the arts or outdoors is necessary.
I bring a natural warmth, intelligence and creativity to my work as a therapist – though it is the relationship we create and shape together that forms the healing basis of our work.
My practice is trauma informed, and where necessary we will work with somatic resources to support your feeling of safety and security.
I am a fully accredited member of the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC) and United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
