About Me

Managing stress, building resilience, coping with anxiety, dealing with relationship issues, and overcoming unhelpful habits, these are just some of the areas in which clients worked successfully with me to achieve change.

Hypnosis is a great tool to help you make the positive changes you desire. It helps you to relax and focus so that you can deeply immerse yourself in various life situations and try out new behaviours and perspectives in the safe environment of imaginary exposure.

During our sessions we will be using cognitive behavioural strategies in combination with hypnosis to empower you to change your habitual thinking patterns and automated behaviours. In addition, I employ acceptance and mindfulness approaches which help increase psychological flexibility and enable you to distance yourself from painful or destructive thoughts.

We can have a free 20mins online chat if you'd like to find out more or ask any questions before booking.

In the first session we will discuss your actions, feelings and thoughts and look at how they affect the issues you are facing and your current situation. We will then base our work in the subsequent sessions on this. Hypnotherapy is teamwork. It requires your commitment and participation to be successful. Working together we will facilitate lasting positive change.

I am a registered clinical hypnotherapist with further certifications in resilience building and stress management.
Prior to this career I had been Head of a Digital Design Team in London for many years. Whilst these two careers don't seem related at first sight, the former has given me a deep understanding of commercial pressures and work-related stress. Therefore, I can easily understand many of my clients' situations, which is invaluable to establish a successful therapeutic relationship.

Training and qualifications

To stay up-to-date I frequently take part in specialist training, e.g. recently on Enhancing Neuroplasticity.

I am registered with the GHR (General Hypnotherapy Register) and I adhere to their strict Code of Ethics.

For my previous career I gained an MA in Communications and an MA in "Applied Imagination" which are both of some value to my current work with clients.
