Fred Macmillan
Person-centred/humanistic counsellorAbout Me
Thank you for visiting my profile. I know from my own experience what a big step it is to reach out for help. Sometimes life can be hard to manage on our own, and that’s ok. If you are reading this, you may well be feeling that part of your life is troubling you.
Whether it’s something that has happened in your life or you are finding your feelings or relationships with people hard to manage, as a qualified BACP registered counsellor, I will offer you a safe, confidential space to listen to you without judgment. I will also help you reflect on how you can grow into the person you want to become.
I will prioritise understanding how you experience the world rather than interpreting your world for you and making assumptions. My focus to do this is by building a trusting, respectful and honest relationship with you in which you feel heard and valued.
I will respect the pace you want to work at and what boundaries you want to set for our work together and encourage you to find your own inner resources and make choices that are right for you.
