Frances Hollingdale Psychodynamic psychotherapist , WC1B
I offer a safe and confidential space to explore the areas of your life that are troubling you and understand how you are feeling. Together we may discover how past experiences are affecting your situation and relationships, and find ways to bring about constructive change.
I am a registered psychodynamic counsellor and psychotherapist. My practice is close to Tottenham Court Road and the British Museum.
My experience and training provides a framework for working with people who are suffering bereavement and loss, parenting, family and relationship difficulties, lack of motivation and feeling stuck, coping with change, feeling worthless or hopeless, work-related stress, identity, finding a purpose in life or coming to terms with the past. I also work with those engaged in spiritual struggle.
Whether you have a specific issue to address, or feel you need more time to discover ways of relating to yourself and others, we will think together about what course to take. Whatever brings you, our work will aim to gently untangle the knots and bring greater clarity. Seeing things in a new light can increase our capacity to live a full life in all its joys and difficulties.
