I came to psychotherapy training as a result of my own therapy experiences, and my working life within social care settings and Higher Education. Psychotherapy offers a unique space, that allows you to explore your life experiences in a safe, confidential, and containing way. Your life and experiences are unique to you, and we will work together, standing side by side to explore your experiences and give shape and words to them. Each client to me is an individual person, shaped by many things.

I work in a warm relational way, meaning we will spend time building trust and safety within therapy first. Only when we begin to feel a bit safer with another, we can then begin to explore our feelings and experiences. Our early relationships with caregivers can impact us throughout our lives, and part of the way I work is around this. Also society impacts us, and we can experience oppressions and marginalisations, and I welcome explorations around this as part of our work together.
