Support Mental Health Charity Mind and Anxieteehee Comedy Festival this Weekend

Aug 20, 2015

Anxieteehee is a comedy festival that aims to make a difference and challenge the stigma associated with mental illness. We recently had a post from founder of Anxieteehee festival Paulina Jawor about her journey of recovery from PTSD. You can read her story here.

The team at Anxieteehee are working hard to make their comedy festival happen and to raise funds for mental health charity Mind - chaired by Stephen Fry - and of course here at Welldoing we support their cause fully. They are running a pub quiz on Sunday 23 August at the Imperial Durbar, Tooting Bec at 6.30pm, so if you're in London head down and get your thinking caps on for a good cause!

The comedy festival itself will take place on 27th - 29th November 2015 and will be spread out across London's pubs located outside major commuting stations in order to attract stressed out commuters, who according to academic research are prone to stress that causes anxieties.

''Thanks to everyone that supported us on our last event! This time we're aiming even bigger and better. Questions are more challenging and steaks are higher! Thanks to both the Imperial Durbar and Cardamom Club for supplying us with fantastic prizes! Culture-filled quiz is a great idea to help our Sunday blues, challenge your mind and most importantly lead our project closer its completion!" said the founder of Anxieteehee, Paulina Jawor.
