Learning that every business has a field and a life-force, and that every service and offering also has its own energy was one of the most magical moments I have had in my business and one that continues to serve me on multiple levels.
We have been lead to believe that we must have a strategy and systems and processes to move forward and this is the only way to do business. Whist I absolutely lean into these practical elements and value them (I even support others with them), balancing them with the support available from the non-physical completes the whole picture.
It’s like having a guide or CEO alongside which is intimately connected to the offer or business, to support you with whatever you are trying to do, added to your own intuition and wisdom.
As you connect with it and get to know it, and I will share how to do this, you can feel the energy of the offer or business; you can receive guidance on what action steps to take; you can feel who the audience might be; you can ask for guidance on pricing; you can ask how to market something; you will be guided on when to rest and when to move forward; you can ask questions on whatever you need support with; it really is unlimited on what you can ask about or for, to support you to take the most aligned action.
Doing this helps me personally when I am blocked or falling into patterns of over-doing to try and force something to happen. When I try to make things happen, which often are not aligned and end up costing me time and money. Having this strong connection is such a reassurance for our minds and one of the biggest support systems I have ever received. The more you learn to trust it and listen to it, honouring its guidance (this is very important) the stronger the connection will get.
I'm running the third in my series of Creative Business Workshops for Therapists on Thursday 20 November. As a Welldoing member, you can register here.
Feedback from previous sessions:
"I found that the workshop was centring and restorative – it put me in touch with a bodily message that I need a break! I have a tendency to run from one thing to another and I found myself thinking that the stillness in the workshop was exactly what I needed. The time passed in the blink of an eye. I have since resolved to make meditation more a part of my daily practice." – Anonymous psychodynamic psychotherapist, London
""The Creative Business Workshop was a truly enriching experience - gentle, insightful and full of depth. Although it was just an hour, it felt longer in the best possible way – spacious, considered and impactful. Tara held the space with such care and clarity, creating an environment that felt both inspiring and grounded. I walked away with valuable insights, fresh perspectives, and a deeper connection to my business journey. A beautifully crafted and facilitated experience that I would wholeheartedly recommend." – Anonymous online psychotherapist
