About me
I am an experienced integrative counsellor / psychotherapist with over 20 years of practice, specialising in working with adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational difficulties. I currently offer therapy online, providing a flexible and accessible space for clients to explore their experiences and work toward meaningful change. Are you looking for a space to make sense of where you are, face a particular challenge, or make meaningful change in your life? Therapy can help you move forward—and I’m here to support that journey with empathy, experience, and a tailored approach. My practice draws on a range of evidence-based approaches—psychodynamic, CBT, humanistic, mindfulness, hypnotherapy, coaching, and NLP—allowing me to adapt our work to best meet your needs. I work exclusively online, having done so successfully since 2020, offering flexible, confidential support from the comfort of your own space. My holistic approach means I take time to understand you as a whole person—past, present, and future—and tailor sessions to what will be most helpful for you now. Starting therapy can feel daunting, but it can also be grounding, empowering, and transformative. I offer a non-judgemental, supportive space where you can be heard, reflect safely, and begin to take meaningful steps forward. I work holistically to support you in: - managing anxiety and stress by helping you recognise triggers, regulate emotions, and calm the nervous system - lifting low mood and increasing motivation by identifying what holds you back and reconnecting you to meaning and positivity - breaking free from unhelpful patterns and habits—including addictive behaviours—through exploration and strategies - navigating challenging relationships by improving communication, boundaries and your own self-worth Ultimately, my work is about helping you reconnect with your sense of self, so that life feels more aligned, fulfilling, and manageable. A little about me - besides working as a therapist, I’m also an academic psychologist with a PhD, and I bring this dual perspective into my therapeutic work. I regularly write blogs exploring psychological themes, mental health, and the therapeutic process, aiming to make insights from therapy accessible and reflective. In recent years, I have a huge interest in neurodivergence, whether they have a diagnosis with Autism or ADHD, and how they need support to navigate the world. I offer a free 15-minute consultation—feel free to get in touch. My availability is mainly on Thursdays and Fridays. I work on Zoom.
