About me
Creative Embodied Psychotherapy I offer both short-term and long-term support - using creativity, mindfulness, and body awareness to help you to explore and understand your thoughts and feelings, especially if you sometimes have difficulty putting things into words. This is alongside talking together, as you would in a counselling session. Autism & Neurodivergent affirming counselling I welcome people who are neurodivergent, including late-diagnosed or self-diagnosed autistic adults. I provide inclusive, non-judgemental support - particularly for people who have experienced stigma or discrimination in the past. I also have personal experience as a neurodivergent therapist. Psychosexual Therapy I specialise in sex & intimacy issues (psychosexual therapy) for people who feel they have physical or emotional issues that are affecting their sex life, along with questions about identity, low self-esteem, or shame. This can include sex & intimacy after illness or surgery, including after cancer, and sexual health concerns including HIV. Common sexual dysfunction worries can include: ~ Low sexual desire or mis-matched desire ~ Pain during sex or penetration, including: ~ Vaginismus, Vulvodynia, Dyspareunia, or Anodyspareunia ~ Erection or ejaculation issues, including: ~ Erectile dysfunction ~ Premature ejaculation ~ Delayed ejaculation Couples & Relationship Therapy I can offer relationship support for individuals, couples, and people in polyamorous relationships. This can be to explore communication, relationship dynamics, worries about growing apart, or building intimacy - as well as specific sexual concerns. LGBTQIA+ Therapy I work with self-esteem, relationship worries, identity questions, or minority stress connected to marginalised identities. I'm welcoming of people who are LGBTQ+, trans, non-binary, or gender expansive. This also extends to polyamorous, or kink-involved people, or people who have different relationship styles (known as gender, sexuality and relationship diversity - or GSRD Therapy). Long-term health conditions, illness & skin conditions I support people with the emotional impact of physical health issues such as cancer, HIV, dermatology conditions, or surgery. This includes people who have a mark, scar or condition which alters the appearance of their face, body, or skin - called a visible difference.
