About me
Like you, I have experienced the exhilarating joys of living as well as its darkness, and the various chapters of my own life have led me here to becoming a counsellor, supporting others on their journeys. As a counsellor I bring the skills and knowledge necessary of course, but I also bring the insight and wisdom gained from the many people I have met, and the strength and courage I have witnessed in the clients I have shared journeys with. I have a deep understanding of being and feeling 'different'. That may be related to our different cultures, religions and backgrounds; it may be our sexual identities or the legacy of carrying something deep within. In my former career I dealt with employees experiencing work-related stresses, performance anxiety and burnout. The experience of being entrenched in such an environment has helped me to be more equipped in supporting clients who suffer work-place anxieties.

I charge £60 for each 50 minute session. I also reserve some lower fee slots for those on a low income and trainee counsellors - please do ask me. I offer a free 30 minute phone consultation in which to discuss your thoughts and concerns. There is no obligation to continue with me after that. I believe good therapy is a collaborative process and your choice is part of that.
