Dr Nevena Curcic
Person-centred/humanistic counsellorAbout Me
Following the most recent government guidelines about coronavirus advising social distancing, I am now offering phone, online and outdoor sessions.
Is there a problem influencing your life and identity at the moment? Are you experiencing anxiety, loss or depression affecting your life to the point where you feel it is hard for you to cope on your own?
My personal and professional experience has taught me that therapy can help. Working with people presenting a range of issues, I focus on the person who experiences a problem in living regardless of whether they are able or not to name the type of difficulty they are going through. As a therapist, my primary aim is to create a friendly and respectful relationship that would help you to express your concerns as openly as you can. Rather than being a neutral observer, I seek to involve myself in your struggle to deal with your problem. In our conversations, we will work together to achieve an understanding of what is going on for you and what you give value to so that we can find a more meaningful and productive way of coping.
I am in regular clinical supervision and committed to the ongoing personal and professional development as part of ensuring a high standard of professional service to all my clients.
