About Me

I specialise in relational Transactional Analysis (TA) psychotherapy, an approach that promotes well-being, personal growth and change. However we are all unique and this means that different styles of therapy will work for different people. Although my approach is underpinned by Transactional Analysis, I am able to draw on a range of psychological thinking and my own life experience to tailor our sessions together. The key thing is that there is a warm and supportive relationship between us which feels safe

In our work together, we will explore the personality and how this has been shaped by experience especially those from childhood, which helps us to understand why we have become who we are today and how we relate to other people.

In partnership toward agreed goals, developing problem solving behaviours and day to day tools to find constructive, creative solutions, as well as awareness of deeper blocks to living a richer life.

In addition to psychotherapy, I continue as a NHS pharmacist, which gives me an unique understanding of the impact of mental and physical challenges on people's lives.

I see adults - individuals and couples. I work with a range of issues, with specific experience supporting people coping with mental and physical health challenges, issues of isolation and loss. I have a personal interest in supporting those who are struggling with the impact of childhood trauma on their adult relationships.

How will we work together?

I can provide a safe, confidential space for you to:

  • explore and process difficult feelings and thoughts
  • share things you may not have spoken to anyone about
  • gain new insight into the challenges you face
  • develop self-care and self-compassion
  • find better ways to communicate and relate to others
  • develop ways to change thoughts, feelings and behaviours you find problematic
  • find your own unique way of living more fully
  • heal from trauma

I have worked across multiple cultures, and have a unique understanding of the stresses created by cultural differences. I will provide a culturally sensitive space for you where you will be seen, heard and understood. If you are ready to embark on a journey of curiosity and growth, email me to arrange a free call.
