About me

My practice is a safe and welcoming space in Surbiton, where we can make sense of difficult feelings and think about what has brought you here. I have many years of experience working with adults from all walks of life and I understand it can be difficult to reach out for help. If you're struggling and would like someone to talk to, get in touch to arrange a confidential phone call to see if psychotherapy feels right for you. Psychotherapy offers a safe, confidential space to talk. It can help relieve symptoms of distress and also help us better understand and appreciate ourselves. The underlying focus of psychodynamic psychotherapy is to understand ourselves more clearly. While the reason for coming to therapy might be worrying feelings, a difficult situation or traumatic events, during therapy the scope of work opens up to include the past, this can help us to think about what is happening in the present. By reflecting on our lives - in a safe place and in our own time - we can begin to make sense of longstanding struggles and create the possibility of meaningful change.
