Leslie Sheinman
Integrative psychotherapistAbout Me
I am able to see clients on Skype, FaceTime, WhatsApp and Zoom.
I see men and women, alone or in couples, who are suffering from all kinds of anxiety and unhappiness, or are not going in the right direction in their lives. You may be having problems at work, with self-esteem or in your relationship with a partner or friends. I will help you to feel safe and focussed, and maybe to recover from nasty experiences in your early or later life including trauma, loss and bereavement. If you are a couple, I will help you to nurture your relationship by learning how to solve your problems and support each other.
I am an established UKCP and BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist. Trained and experienced in a number of types of psychotherapy (analytic, humanistic, existential, CBT), I will tailor your therapy to your individual needs. I was formerly a lawyer and academic and you should find my work intelligent and practical.
I will offer you a space to work out why you got to this place and will think with you about solutions to your problems. Together we will identify what might be stopping you from reaching your full potential and what action you need to take to improve your situation.
I offer you an initial assessment interview free of charge. It is a chance to talk frankly about what is worrying or upsetting you, discuss how psychotherapy could help, and establish how we might work together.
My consulting rooms are conveniently situated in London W1, close to Regents Park and Great Portland Street Stations; and in Wenhaston, near Halesworth, Suffolk.
