About me
As an Integrative Counsellor, I don’t believe one approach suits everyone. Every person is unique, which is why I adapt the way we work to suit your individual needs, experiences and goals. I believe counselling works best when there’s a trusting relationship between counsellor and client. My role isn’t to tell you what to do or have all the answers. Instead, I’ll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and support you as we work together towards the changes you want to make. I have a unique back story to becoming a counsellor including my own lived experience of poor mental health, 20 years experience as a senior manager within a very large international organisation and 4 years working for a mental health charity in and around mental health crisis management, signposting and advocacy. This experience means I bring with me many ways I can help clients.
