About Me

Are you struggling to sleep, waking up in the early hours obsessing about yesterday and worrying about the day to come? You’ve invested so much, worked so hard to get here, and yet every day still feels like a fight.  And you’re tired, so tired, you can’t focus on anything and you’ll do anything and everything you can to distract yourself from the pain you’re feeling.   Do you stay in your relationship or take the risk and leave?  Can you even say the words you’ve been turning over and over in your head out loud?

My name is Jacquie and I am a psychotherapist, coach, supervisor and trainer and I am passionate about helping you deal with the challenges that life throws at you, both practical and emotional.   It could be a problem that’s been building up over time or maybe something’s happened out of the blue turning your whole world upside down.  The very fact you’re reading this means that despite everything you’ve tried so far your life isn’t working out the way you want it to.   You know something has to change but it’s so hard to see what the next step is.

So why choose to work with me?  Studies show that it’s the relationship between you and your therapist that really influences whether counselling will work for you and you’ll get the results you want.   For that reason, I offer an initial session that’ll let you find out whether we could work together successfully.

And if you do decide you want to take the next step, you’ll get a safe, confidential space to tell your story, your way, and together we’ll work out what you need right now, where you want to be and how you can get there.   We can agree to meet for a small number of focused sessions to get you through the immediate crisis or you may feel you need longer to help you make more significant life changes.  Or somewhere in between - you decide!  We’ll keep reviewing how it’s going until you feel ready to move on.

If you would like to know more or to set up an initial session, please book online or you can give me a call or e-mail me.   We can talk face to face in a quiet, peaceful room in the centre of Shrewsbury, on the phone or by video-conferencing – whatever works best for you.

You can contact me on 07858757561 or [email protected]
