About me
As I said - most people that work with me have things they want support with, that appear to have nothing to do with anger at all! But if I've learned anything in my experience as a therapist in over a decade of work - I've learned that anger will always show up somewhere. You might not think you have 'anger issues' - or maybe you do? (Let's face it, there's plenty to be mad about!) Whatever is going on for you, my job is support you in the best way I can, and understand what things are truly like for you. My second job - the bit I am passionate about - is helping people use their anger as a tool and not as a thing they're worried about feeling. In my opinion - you can never be too angry, being mad doesn't mean you don't care, and it certainly is something that you can use to make your life better. I work online therapy which includes email therapy. As a neurodivergent person myself, I understand the significance of stability and routine as well as being flexible. I use an online booking system which not only allows you to find the sessions that work best for you, but allows you to book regularly, takes care of payment and those times you need to reschedule too. People that work with me have all told me that this has made it really easy for them to make therapy work for them.

Anger (among many things) shows up differently for people who are neurodivergent, in menstrual cycles or menopause, and people who are disabled or chronically ill! (I also happen to have lived experience of this intersection of anger!) I have over 10 years of experience, specialising in Anger and Emotional Management. This includes delivering psychoeducation and emotional support as co-facilitator for men's anger management groups at the BRAVE Project. I went on to become lead developer and facilitator for the women's anger management project. Anger is still an enormous passion of mine, and I continue to regularly engage with research but also developing my own ideas and theories around understanding anger. I am now developing an ongoing understanding and learning around how anger relates to menstrual health and neurodivergence. Some of my core certificates and training are: PG Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy (2016) – Leeds Beckett University [BACP Accredited] BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Therapeutic Studies (2011) – Leeds Metropolitan University Certificate in Therapeutic Supervision (2020) – CPCAB Diploma in Online Therapy (2020) – OCST [ACTO Approved] Foundation in Email Counselling (2025) - Email Counselling Academy [ECA] I also have experience counselling young people, supporting and supervising staff and therapists who work with young people. I have been a Supervisor and Counselling Co-ordinator for Step 2 Young People's Health for a number of years. I take continuous professional development and training regularly, including in; working with couples, living and working with neurodiversity, menstrual cycle awareness, working with shame and many more.
