As a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist I am committed to providing a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment where difficult and painful emotions can be expressed and explored.
Modern life is, for many of us, lived at breakneck speed as we strive to juggle competing and unrelenting demands. This can often leave us feeling exhausted, resentful and inadequate; we lose touch with what makes it all worthwhile and lose sight of the person we want to be.
Counselling is an opportunity to press pause; to breathe and find a way back to ourselves. Together we can talk it through and by developing greater self-acceptance and understanding help bring positive change to your life.
My work covers a broad range of issues, but prizes the unique, individual experience of each client. I have several years experience of counselling people whose lives have been affected by cancer and as a result have developed a specific interest in working with grief and loss in relation to life-changing or terminal illness.
Due to current Coronavirus restrictions, sessions can take place online via Zoom or Skype, or we can talk over the phone. Face-to-face appointments in Shalford will resume when the need for social distancing no longer applies and it is deemed safe to meet in person.
