Fiona RileyPsychodynamic psychotherapist
Are you feeling anxious, sad, depressed, struggling with relationships? If so, then I offer you the opportunity to explore your difficulties where you will be heard in confidence and will be free to talk safely without fear of judgement or blame.
It takes courage to acknowledge difficult emotions and people come to see me for many different reasons including anxiety & stress; depression; relationship difficulties; bereavement and separation; eating disorders; self harm; sex and gender challenges. Together we try to make sense and understand what may be happening to you, those around you and through this increased awareness, make changes.
As a psychotherapist and counsellor, I am experienced in a wide range of emotional and relationship difficulties working one to one with adults of all ages, cultural backgrounds, genders and sexual orientations offering short term and long term open-ended therapy.
I am supportive, empathetic and professional; I will challenge you when appropriate or necessary in order to help you gain insight and to support change.
I work both in private practice in the City and North West London and in the NHS.
Additionally, I work as a Group Therapist facilitating reflective practice and therapeutic groups for individuals and organisations. I am also a business coach.
In the past, I enjoyed working in Media and Corporate businesses at Board and Managing Director level and in the Charity sector as CEO and now as a Trustee.
I look forward to hearing from you.
