"What to expect in your first session"
I have a flexible approach to our sessions, I offer brief intervention work for short term problems which may be a reaction to a life event. Longer term therapy for difficulties you may have been experiencing over a long period of time. Our sessions will last for 50 minutes.
"How my approach can help you"
I am not stuck down to a specific method of therapy, rather I make use of a potpourri of skills and training which I have studied and trained in over the years, and base my choice of methods used in each case upon my experience and the particular case at hand. You are unique and so deserve a unique approach too. I enjoy being creative at my work. At the same time I believe the relationship you will build with me is at least as important as the theory that underlies the work.
I offer therapy through Skype. Attending therapy online can offer a lot of benefits. Some clients are shy to go to the office of the therapist and are more comfortable online without being physically present at the therapist's office. You may also have time constraints or geographical limits (kids at home or work hours) and so online therapy can enable you to still receive the help you want so much. You can also choose the location where you want to be for the session, enabling you to stay at home or free to choose a convenient secure place I try to be as flexible as possible with suiting my times to my clients. That is possible due to the sessions taking place online and not in my office. The prices for therapy over Skype are also usually cheaper due to lower costs for the therapist.
