About me

I offer Jungian psychotherapy in Highgate, North London, and online. I work with adults on a once to several times per week basis, depending on what feels right for each person. In sessions, I try to create a therapeutic relationship that feels containing and unhurried – a space where it is possible to speak freely and explore at a pace that feels manageable. Starting therapy can feel daunting, and I aim to offer something steady, attentive, and respectful of that. The people I tend to work with often arrive with a sense that their struggles run deeper than they have yet been able to articulate – that anxiety, low mood, or difficulties in relationships are pointing towards something that deserves genuine understanding rather than simply being managed. If that resonates with you, I'd be happy to speak. Analytical psychology appealed to me because it refuses to stay on the surface. The questions that matter most to people – who they really are, what gives their life meaning, why certain patterns keep repeating – cannot be answered through symptom relief alone. Jungian analysis is willing to sit with these questions seriously. Jung's particular contribution was to understand the psyche as moving not only out of the past, but towards something – towards greater wholeness and a fuller realisation of who we are. Central to his thinking is individuation: the ongoing process of becoming more completely oneself by bringing into awareness the unconscious aspects of personality that have been overlooked, repressed, or simply never yet known. It is this vision of the psyche that I find most compelling, and that I believe offers something genuinely distinctive to those who sense their difficulties are asking something of them rather than simply happening to them. I offer a free 20-minute online consultation for anyone thinking about starting therapy – a chance to talk through what has brought you to this point and to get a feel for whether working together seems like a good fit.
