About me
Welcome to Clear Perspectives Psychotherapy. I draw from several modalities, namely, psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, and transpersonal. Hence, I do not have a 'one size fits all' approach. Instead, I meet you where you are, and will take aspects from a particular principle/s and apply appropriately in service to whatever your needs might be. Enter a safe, confidential, empathetic, and non-judgemental space where you will be held, listened to, understood, and supported regardless of the issue. Whether you are new to therapy or returning to it, you will be met with care and respect for your individual experience. I understand that we are all complex beings, and often trying to navigate our way through life can be challenging. Seeking therapy can be overwhelming, and in some instances, may be viewed with shame, stigma, as not being good enough, or feelings of inadequacy. I honour your courage! Reaching for support is not a failure! My speciality is stress, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal relationships. I work with adults from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. Some people come to therapy during periods of distress or transition, while others seek space to reflect, gain perspective, or deepen their understanding of themselves. Clients may include professionals or executives managing responsibility, leadership demands, burnout, or work-life imbalance; individuals experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, or emotional overwhelm; and students and young adults navigating academic or early career pressures. Areas of Particular Interest are: Early Years Attachment Adults Who Attended Boarding School and Boarding School Syndrome I have a particular interest in working with adults who attended boarding school. The ways in which a child adapts to boarding school can become lifelong strengths, yet they may also influence patterns of relating, emotional expression, or self-expectation in subtle ways. Many people do not initially consider their boarding school experience to be relevant to the concerns that bring them to therapy. When appropriate, therapy offers a space in which these experiences can be explored with curiosity, care, and without assumption. In recognition that we all respond better to some methods more than others for varying reasons, I use a number of tools to help with each therapeutic journey. This includes art, body work, breathing and grounding techniques, chair work, dream work, inner child work, music, visualisations. Together, we explore the source/s of each presenting issue and identify supportive techniques and changes that can cultivate empowerment My approach is compassionate, attuned, and gentle. I am here to accompany you on this journey at your own pace. You are not alone!
