About me

Hi, I'm Claudine and I'm a BACP registered Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with a background in journalism, art and education. I came to counselling training after benefitting from therapy myself and experiencing the real support it can offer in times of challenge. I now draw on my past experiences to support clients who are feeling creatively stuck or limited in some way. We all feel stuck at some points in life, whether you are struggling to move through a bereavement or a relationship break up, for example, a judgement free environment in which you can work through your feelings with honesty can offer relief and the space you need. I have a particular interest in working with clients with Auto Immune diseases such as ME, MS, and Fibromyalgia for example. The way in which illness can affect our sense of self, our relationship with our own bodies and our relationships with those around us is often neglected and I welcome exploring that aspect of you in the therapy room.
