Andre De Trichateau
Psychodynamic psychotherapistAbout Me
Before becoming an experienced and professionally qualified psychotherapist, I worked in PR and Communications for many years. It was whilst I was in this industry I became fascinated by the many dynamics and behaviours around me. Why do people behave like they do?
With the encouragement of my own therapist, together with my growing fascination with this discipline, I studied psychotherapy for five years at WPF, one of the foremost institutions for psychodynamic and psychoanalytic learning, and, after completing the postgraduate diploma, decided to leave one world behind to discover a new one.
I spent two years on the Neurological Rehabilitation ward at UCLH (NHS - Queen's Square)
I am a professional member of the BPC (www.bpc.org.uk) and BACP (www.bacp.co.uk) and therefore adheres to their Code of Ethics.
I am an approved provider for Aviva and Vitality Private Health Insurance.
The approach I take is to be open-minded, who will treat you well, with compassion and in the strictest of confidence.
