About me
I provide calm, encouraging, and empathetic support to help you feel comfortable in working through complex feelings, thought patterns, or behaviours. I offer counselling and coaching support to Londoners through in-person and online sessions, and work online with those based outside London. I support individuals with life and career changes (including bereavement, loss, retirement, separation, or career change), relationship dynamics and issues, (re)discovering a sense of direction, purpose, and worth, motivation, low mood and depression, anxiety, self-esteem, cultural adaptation, and overall wellbeing, especially when dealing with uncertainty or feeling stuck. My approach integrates counselling and coaching techniques and modalities - including psychodynamic, existential, cognitive behavioural, and acceptance & commitment (ACT) therapies, and the Personal Consultancy model - to best meet your needs, context, and expectations. For those looking to figure out their next steps or dealing with change, we may focus more on the coaching aspect of the work, with a non-judgemental, genuine, and caring approach underpinning all my work with individual clients. I work with adults, including people from multicultural backgrounds and creative professionals at different stages of their lives and careers.

Training and qualifications
I am a qualified, integratively trained counsellor and coach with experience of working in NHS settings, solution-focused therapy, person-centred and existential therapy, life and career coaching. I have also worked as a counsellor in a service dedicated to supporting those working in the arts (e.g. writers, actors, directors, producers, artists, and arts administrators and educators). I am a registered member (421820) of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within the BACP's Ethical Framework. I am also a member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), and participate regularly in professional development workshops and conferences. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Coaching from the University of East London, and a Certificate in Therapeutic Skills from Metanoia Institute. Before my work as a counsellor and coach, I spent over 20 years working in the cultural and creative industries, and alongside my counselling and coaching practice with individuals, I continue to work as a strategy advisor to cultural organisations and creative businesses. My personal experience of migration, life transitions, career changes, multicultural family and relationship context, and arts and creativity informs my work as a counsellor and coach.
