About me

I am an existential psychotherapist offering a warm, collaborative space for you to reflect deeply on your experience of life. A registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I bring ethical integrity and an open, curious approach grounded in existential philosophical thinking. Existential psychotherapy sees anxiety, paradox, and relational complexity as inevitable parts of being human. An existential approach does not seek to avoid discomfort; rather, it views suffering as a valuable source of insight. I am committed to a non-pathologising approach that supports you in exploring what your pain might be trying to communicate.  By cultivating greater awareness, we begin to see more clearly the choices available to us. Existential psychotherapy invites us to reflect on our lives and how we relate to the world, and to consider new ways of being that open up possibilities beyond entrenched relational patterns that can so often make us feel stuck. I believe that we come to know ourselves in relation to others. I view the therapeutic relationship as a mirror for how you relate to yourself and others, and a safe space to explore these dynamics. Through this process, you and I will reflect not only on your inner world but also on how aspects of social identity - such as gender, sexuality, race, or class - affect the way you navigate life and relationships.
